1. Program a Home Zone™ area for your dog. If he roams outside of the Home Zone, the PetSafe GPS Locator identifies the event as an escape or boundary violation, and notifies you via phone, email or text message.
2. The PetSafe GPS Locator shifts into Locate Mode, continually monitoring your dog's location and providing GPS coordinates to your personal PetSafe GPS Locator website.
3. Once alerted, either use the website or contact a customer care specialist to help track your dog. The Customer Care Specialist can remain on the line with you until you and your dog are back together again. Remember, our GPS tracking specialists are on duty 24/7/365 days a year, providing full-time protection for your dog.

When you want to take your dog for a walk, simply put the PetSafe GPS Locator into Walk Mode. If your dog is outside of the Home Zone when Walk Mode expires after 45 minutes, a boundary violation is initiated. Of course, if you and your pal like long walks, you can extend the Walk Mode an additional 45 minutes before the original minutes expire.

As a safety precaution, you also receive a phone call, text message, and/or e-mail message when the batteries on the PetSafe GPS Locator run low and need to be recharged or replaced. Your system includes an extra set of 2 rechargeable batteries and a charger. When you get a Low Battery Alert simply swap out the batteries in the unit, and recharge the batteries you removed. There is no need for the collar to be off the dog for 4-6 hours while the batteries recharge, which would leave your dog unprotected during an escape without the collar. Your dog has protection 24/7/365.

RoomEO PUPpod This is the newest and possibly most exciting addition to the RoamEO product line.  The PuP unit is aimed at the budget minded consumer.  Like the RoamEO Classic it will track your pet using GPS technology, but by sacrificing a few bells and whistles it will do it for about $110.00 less.  The PuP unit differs from the classic in the following ways: The handheld is smaller and more streamlined.  It will now fit comfortably in anyone's hands and is not so bulky. It is a pointing unit.  What this means is that instead of showing the dogs moving around in real time it points to a quadrant - Front, back, left, right, front/left, front/right, rear/left, and rear/right.  Showing you the direction you need to walk in order to meet up with your pet. It also shows the distance that you are away from the pet, so you know how far you need to travel. Unlike the RoamEO Classic, the PuP will only track two pets at a time The Screen is also in a high contrast black and white format, and very readable in sunlight.
